About

I’m a critical and creative writing and communications strategist. My work in policy, project management, and coordination has made me an expert in theory and practice methodologies. I understand the issues of the moment: gender politics, poverty, race, governance, culture, the environment, disability; and can speak to them with nuance.

I’ve previously held roles with the Centre for Women and Trans People at York University, Niagara Social Justice Forum, Ontario Ministry of Education, Humber College, and Elections Canada. In addition, I’ve volunteered on programs and projects locally and abroad.

Notably, for four-and-a-half years, I owned, managed, and was head coach of my social enterprise, Lace Up Your Cleats, which provided inclusive sport and social programming to women and transgender athletes. My international experience includes public-school teaching in South Korea and publishing creative content with The Gwangju News Magazine.
